A Candylicious Halloween Display and Dining Table Idea
A few posts back I shared how excited I was to decorate this space for Halloween. I wasn’t kidding! The idea of a fun candy display came to me out of the blue, and I knew it would be so cute and easy to create and display in our dining room. Off to Hobby Lobby I went to get supplies, and lucky they were having one of their sales on glass that day. I was able to pick up all of my containers for well under $100! Target was also having a sale on their Halloween candy, so it was the perfect time to pick up everything.

Jars of varying heights and sizes.
Black Crows
Small Posable Skeleton
I separated the candy into types for some of the smaller jars, and carefully placed them inside. Some of the candy is for us, and some to hand out on the big day, so I wasn’t all that concerned with doing it for all the jars. The larger jars hold a variety of candy types, and I like the uniformed look mixed with the random mix.
I completed the display by placing the jars across our shelf in the dining room, adding a posable skeleton which I posed to look like it was setting up the banner (so fun!), and placed a couple of black crow figures around the candy jars. It created the perfect whimsical Halloween scene!
On our dining table, I pulled from my collection of brass candlesticks, and topped them with orange taper candles. I kept our round galvanized tray as a base to the centerpiece, and added a cute candy bowl for easy candy access. Truthfully, looking at all that candy in jars makes you want a piece or two for yourself. Haha! My son can’t resist! To complete the centerpiece look I added a disembodied skeleton arm. I think it’s reaching for the candy too! Spooky!
Our stack of black and white buffalo check chargers and figural mummy plates are going to be perfect to serve snacks on when the big day rolls around, and in the meantime they look cute on the table!

My son wanted to be the Hulk for Halloween this year, and we found the perfect costume at Target this year. He loves it, as you can see, and is already practicing his “Hulk” face for when he takes of his mask, because we all know he is going to take off his mask at some point.
