A Casual Holiday Hot Chocolate Station
Earlier in the season I wanted to set up a hot chocolate station on our coffee bar, so the family could enjoy a cup or two as the weather started to cool down. It was a quick, no fuss, type of addition. My favorite kind, when my mind is filled with many other tasks. I thought maybe some of you could relate, and if so, here’s a couple of tips on how to set one up yourself.
- Have a variety of hot chocolate mixes for people to choose from.
- Choose a variety of toppings. Sprinkles, syrup, marshmallows, and chocolate morsels are favorites of ours.
- Display toppings in small jars, or have fun wrapping containers with paper, cloth or ribbon.
- Group toppings and cups together using a tray.
- Add small nods to the season using decor. Here I used a few ornaments, and juniper clippings displayed in a small crock. Don’t want decor? Try candy canes! They can be used to mix the hot chocolate and add a little holiday flare too.
- Enjoy!

Happy Holidays!
