A Little Bit of Fall (Fall Home Tour)
Simple decorative touches here and there can make the season come to life inside your home.
Welcome! It’s no secret that the change of season sparks a fire in me to decorate. I have held off longer than I thought I could for fall, but with fall officially only days away, I knew I had better get to work.
Simple, attainable, and comfortable embody this entire tour. With just a few additions to each space, I’ve transformed our home for fall, and it’s my hope that you will find inspiration throughout this tour for your own home.
Let’s get started!
Porch
The addition of a new fall wreath (DIY), and some blue/green pumpkins is all it took for our porch to feel fall ready. I love that the muted colors of the pumpkins don’t scream for attention, but rather fill the space with a subtle fall look. Now wish me luck that those pumpkins don’t rot in the hot Texas heat before the season is over!
Entryway
The addition of a stone pumpkin (this one wont rot and make a mess) and a change of pillow covers to incorporate the muted tones I wanted for our home this fall is all I did in this space.
Living Room
Our living room is where the simple execution of changing pillow covers, throws, and coffee table decor make the biggest impact. Not to mention decorating the mantel for fall. One of my favorite additions to the room here is the floral display on the coffee table. The idea to use an over-sized crock to hold my faux magnolia, fig, and pear branches came to me one day, and luckily I knew the perfect place to visit to pick one up!
Dining Room
Our dining room is the most playful place for me these days. We finally added a shelf between the two cabinets on the wall, and I’ve loved switching up the decor displayed across it. The idea I have for Halloween is so exciting, that I almost can’t wait to pull all of this down and start it! As for our table, I love, love, love having a casual display on it that is both functional and beautiful. The round galvanized tray does well holding a mixture of items for everyday use, such as coasters, and cloth napkins, as seen here. A pretty floral display accented with vintage finds makes it all the more striking.
Happy FALL Y’all!
