A Neutral Tablescape Dressed up for the Holidays
Hi there, friends! Things have been busy around here, prepping for the holidays, working on house projects, and much more. I’m ready to rest and enjoy it all, how about you?
If you’re trying to figure out holiday plans, are hosting, or have a small celebration planned for you and your immediate family, I’ve put together a festive tablescape for your consideration. Our holiday plans have taken a bit of a turn, so we’re planning on Christmas dinner at home this year. I had already planned our tablescape for a larger dinner a while ago, and even though it’s just us, I still want it to feel special, so I pulled out my favorite pieces, and put this one together for us. My son walked in while I was working on it, and complimented it. He said he was excited to eat dinner with this setup, so I’d call that a win. I hope you enjoy it too, and if you’re interested in recreating the look, I’ve linked some similar products for you below.
I thought I might add that this tablescape is neutral in nature, so it would be great all year, but it’s easily dressed up for the holidays. I accomplished that by creating a small floral centerpiece using clippings of holly from our yard, and adding velvet ribbon to the woven napkin holders. A couple of holiday trivets, bottlebrush trees, a wreath and bows complete the overall look. Basically, you could accomplish this scene by adding in traditional holiday elements of your preference to the mix. If you doubt yourself, know that you can do it!
If you’re looking for more holiday inspiration, be sure to check my other holiday posts from this year, here. I’ll be sharing a few more posts this week and next, so be sure to check for those as well. Happy holidays, friends!
