Cozying Up the Coffee Table for Fall

Hi there, friends! A while back, maybe about a month ago, I was daydreaming about fall being just around the corner, so I pulled together some of my favorite coffee table books, home decor pieces, some thrifted some not, from around the house to style our coffee table. It felt good to get it done, and I had hoped it would be the first fall styling post I’d share this year, but a couple of us in the household fell ill, and were down and out for a couple of weeks, so it had to wait.
Earlier this week I was still feeling pretty tired, but after doing nothing for so long, I needed to do something productive. To save energy, I curated a collection of my favorite coffee table items for you all and did a mini styling session to show you a few used in our home. I hope that post was helpful. If you haven’t seen it, you can find it here.
As promised I’m back today to share the living room coffee table. I took a little time to clean up the living room, styled it a bit more for fall, and got to work photographing the space. I didn’t share the entire room, because I hope to have a full fall tour of the space done in the next week, but you get a glimpse in the background of these photos.
My Must-Have Elements to Decorate a Coffee Table
- Coffee Table Books
- Candles, Candle Sticks and a Candle Snuffer
- Vase/Vessel
- Floral Element
- Decorative Objects
- Bowls, Trays, and Baskets (Interchangeable, or used together.)
Personally, I enjoy a collected but tidy look in our home, as you can see by the styling. We have home projects going on just about all the time in the background, and this style gives me the breather I need to feel grounded and relaxed while we work on them. Home takes time, is such a true saying.
Thanks for checking in with me here on the blog. I hope the post inspires you, and the tips help you to style your own home. If you’d like to see more of this space, please visit my Instagram account @irisnacole for a Reel.
