Easing Into Fall-Fall Candles
I’m sitting in our living room this morning, listening to the rain come down outside our window, relaxing, and enjoying the scent of our new fall candle. It’s not nearly fall in my area, but I’m willing to pretend it is, so I say, let’s ease into fall with this post all about my favorite fall candle scents. Are you with me?
Over the years I’ve tried out so many different candles, but with my sensitivity to certain scents, I have a hard time finding the perfect ones that wont send me into an allergy attack. Don’t worry, it’s not the kind you are thinking. My allergy to scents is one that causes a major “cold” to occur. I can be down and out for a couple of days if I sniff the wrong candle, so the fact that I’ve found more than one scent to turn to for the fall season makes me so excited!
Those of you that frequent the TJX Companies, like HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls have surly come across the wonderful scents from DW Home, at least one time or another. They have such a variety, and I’ve found at least four that are perfect for fall. The scents of Pumpkin Pecan, Toffee Pumpkin, Pumpkin Spice, and Harvest Pumpkin, are going to be wafting throughout my home from now until December, making it oh so cozy.
Because I found so many, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase at least one in each scent. Luckily DW Home has small, one wick candles that you can purchase for under $5. They are the perfect size, and would make great additions to a gift basket.
While setting up my photo shoot for this blog post, I grabbed a few items to style with, and in doing so came up with the cutest way to display these candles for fall. So what did you think about this play on an pumpkin pie display? Using a cake stand, I placed a few candles on top, and lit them. (You don’t really have to though, because the scents coming from these candles is apparent weather or not they are lit.) I mean, all the candles have a pumpkin element to them, and since they are so small in size and complement each other in scent it’s almost as yummy as having a real pumpkin pie displayed in your kitchen. Of course, when you’re dealing with an open flame, you need to use caution, so please only do this if you think it would be safe to do so, and again, you don’t even need to light these candles to experience their goodness.
So how do you like to display your candles around your home? What’s your favorite scent? I’d really love to hear from y’all!

Ooh yes! I love them on the mantel. I did it one year around New Year’s Eve and left it up for quite some time. 🙂
