Everyday Living: Game Table Styling
Hey there, friends! I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve said for years now, that the purpose of this blog is to share stylish ideas for everyday living. I feel like I’ve mainly focused on big projects though, and I recognize my failure to deliver on that mission statement. That failure ends today, and I hope what I share is of more value to you going forward.

Our family room makeover took place last year. You can see more about that here. Since then, we have made a few changes to the furniture, and decor, but one space that I’ve been surprisingly happy with is our game table area. I had meant for this setup to be temporary, as I’d love a small vintage table and chair set here, but the current pieces have been working out so well, that it wasn’t until recently, I even remembered that I had planned to change it one day! Now that I’ve remembered, I’ll be keeping an eye out for the perfect replacements though. I can’t help it! I love the hunt! If/when I find them, I’ll be sure to share here.

I designed the family room to be a multifunctional room, consisting of a sitting area, and a game area. I prefer that the entire space flows together seamlessly, and to achieve that look, I do my best to decorate each space in the same style. Since I recently decorated the coffee table area, I took the tones and textures used in that area and brought them over to the game table.

As with most of the spaces I style, I like to incorporate vintage decor pieces. The crock as a vase, and the two glass candlesticks tick that box, but I could get away with not using anything vintage on the tabletop, since some of the art on the wall surrounding the table is vintage.
Taking into account that this is a game table, I also wanted to keep the decor to a minimum. Just a simple display that is easy to set out of the way when it’s time to enjoy a game as a family.

I’m sharing a few decor pieces that I came across, to help you get the look!
I hope that helps!
