House Goals for the New Year
Happy New Year, friends! I’ve taken a few weeks off from blogging to enjoy the holidays with my family, rest, relax, prioritize and plan for the new year. I was much needed! Strictly staying on the topic of home improvements, I’ve had a lot of ideas running through my mind for our home. We have a few projects in the works already, such as our dining room, laundry room, and the last phase of our powder room makeover. Once those are finished we’ll move on to more. To get a clearer picture I’m going to map it out below.

We also have a few floating projects that depending on the climate of the world we will ultimately decide on doing this year or next. Because staying at home is such a priority, we don’t want to do anything that would disrupt our daily lives in such a way that require us to move out for a time, or switch up living spaces for an extended period of time. I’m realizing more and more, that home is truly an ever evolving being if you want it to be.
My list is vague in details, but I will note, we’re not committing to any huge projects, just things that will require small budgets, but give us a more functional living space, as well as desired cosmetic updates throughout. I feel lucky to have developed a talent for design, as well as drawing up build plans, to manage these projects. And let’s not forget the help from my husband to execute those build plans that I must avoid for health reasons. It’s truly a team effort around here, so when I say, “we” that’s who I am referring to.
I can’t wait to get to work on the first project on the list. This is one I can do on my own, so wish me luck! I’ll be sharing more information with y’all about it very soon, so keep an eye out!
Thanks for visiting!
