Let’s Spruce Up the Front Porch Too
Great news! We’ve partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond, for the New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge! Having already designed the entryway and stairway, I figured I’d go one step further and add our front porch to the challenge. Might as well make walking into our home a whole new experience!
What do you think? I think it’s going to give our porch such a new feeling, and I can’t wait to get the products in so I can start on it! The outdoor rustic vibe is perfect for our home, and is something I’ve been trying to perfect for a while around our outdoor spaces. There’s something so wonderful about a space that looks like it could have existed for centuries, but functions as new. To accomplish this style I’ve enjoying mixing materials, such as metal, wood, and distressed or patinaed objects. I especially love it because it gives me ample opportunity to hunt for secondhand items. Sometimes though, you just can’t find key pieces on time, or for a reasonable price. For those challenges I’ve found that with a little help from places like Bed Bath & Beyond, I’m able to complete projects much quicker and easier, and still attain the desired aesthetic.
As for the progress on the interior spaces, I’ve made a lot! Did you follow along on Instagram this past week, and see? I’ll do a recap and continue to update over there during the week, so keep checking in.
Be sure to check in with my fellow participants, to see how their spaces are coming along!
