New Year, New Room Can Take Time: Entry/Stairway Update

I hope I didn’t leave you hanging! I took a little time off from blogging last week to regroup after the porch refresh reveal. Work didn’t stop though! We finished building the closet and adding trim to the top of the stairs. I’ll share that soon on Instagram Stories. We still need to add doors, and depending on time and cost we are considering ordering instead of making them if it’s not too much. The handrails on the stairs are still being sanded. We needed a smaller sander to get between the balusters and around them too. I found this one at Lowe’s and it seemed to do the job. My husband did it, as I can’t use loud tools. Took a little while to do, and we still have one more section to go, but it was the weekend and we needed to do other things, so we left it at that, and will pick it back up next weekend. I’ll share more with you all, as we make more progress.
