Decor Tip: Faux Plant, Planter Upgrade
Hey there, friends! I thought I’d stop by and share a quick decor tip with y’all today. I hate to admit it, but I’m one of those converts from, “Ew, that’s a faux plant.”, to “Ooh, look at that beautiful faux plant!”. Maybe the quality of faux plants has gotten better over the years, or maybe I was just looking in all of the wrong places, but I’ve come across some perfectly real looking options that I love using in my home now. One hangup that I do still run into though is the planters they come in. Sometimes they just aren’t my style, or maybe the size was all wrong for where I would want to use them. For a while I would pass them up and keep searching for the perfect plant-planter combo. Then a light bulb went off, and I realized that I could always find a planter that I loved and simply place the undesired planter into it.
It’s always funny to me how sometimes the most obvious ideas can escape me in my blind desire for perfection. Don’t fall into the trap like I did. Make things work for you! Especially when it’s so simple to do. Have a look below to see the transformation, which worked out perfectly for my coffee table styling.
Pick your favorite faux plants, and choose your style of planter. Be considerate of the size, because you don’t want the new planter to swallow up the existing planter.
Simply place the existing faux plant and planter into the new planter.
There you have it! So pretty, right!
Have fun styling!

There are so many plants that I pass up because I don’t like the planter. Clearly I’ve been thinking about it all wrong! Love the tip about changing out the planter pot. PINNING!
