- Cap tips of leather with crimp cover.

- Squeeze crimp cover closed onto leather.

- Thread large bead onto leather.

- Thread one capped end through larger bead.

- This will create a loop that you can adjust to fit over your head and around your neck.
Hi friends! Thanks for joining us again today! I’ve been a fan of Urban Outfitters for years. Way back in my early 20’s I pretty much lived at the store on the weekends. Nowadays I don’t make it to the mall as often, but I am still inspired by the overall style of the store, of the products, and browse the website frequently. When I was browsing the website for inspiration for the “Inspired By” series, I saw this necklace, and even though I probably should have chosen something related to home for the challenge, I needed to make this necklace for myself. Off to the craft store I went! It took some time to find pieces that worked since the location closest to me didn’t have exactly what I needed, but the crafty side of me was able to come up with a plan, and I was able to find other options to make it work. I hope y’all like the tutorial, and the outcome!

So simple and sweet,! I always look at the jewelry making supplies at the craft store and wish I knew what to make. This might be a good first project for me plus it gives me a good excuse to buy some goodies. Different colored leathers would be fun too.
