Life & Style-Wednesday Wish List: Entryway
I thought it would be fun to try something new here on the blog to go along with my new category, Life & Style. Each Wednesday I’ll be sharing a “Wednesday Wish List” of current items for sale on some of my favorite websites.
This week I decided it would be fun to pull a few items that would make up an entryway! I’ve always been drawn to “Boho Chick” styling, and not so secretly wish that I had another home to decorate primarily in this style. Since I don’t think that’s going to happen without a streak of luck and lottery winnings, I figured I’d play around with the idea in this week’s wish list! Here are some of the wonderful items I ran across!

My main focus in decorating is function. If it doesn’t function, then why have it? Okay, some things are exceptions to the rule, but for the most part it’s necessary. This Pottery Barn console table (3) provides ample amounts of storage possibilities. The three drawers would be great for holding keys, wallets, sunglasses, etc.., and the open shelving below could easily be filled with baskets, like these Threshold baskets (2), for extra storage. Top it off with these beautiful Marbled Hooks (5), and the Hoop Mirror (1) from Anthropologie, and you have yourself a functioning space!
Of course, every entryway needs beautiful lighting, so I was on the hunt to find the perfect one. When I came across this Gooseneck Chandelier (4) from West Elm, I immediately fell in love. The antique brass body, and white globes scream Boho Chick to me, and I would love to have it in my home!
Last but not least of course is an entry rug! This one from Anthropologie (6) is absolutely gorgeous! With a starting price tag of $328 it is quite the splurge, but hey, it’s the first thing you and your guests will see when you enter your home, so I think it would be worth the extra bucks!

Thank you so much Tiffany! I’ve always been of the belief that function can be pretty too, so I’m glad you agree! I think sometimes people think you have to sacrifice it for function, and don’t really look for those beautiful pieces. I’m hoping this series will open up that door for those in that mindset!
