Time is Flying By-A Look Back at our 2025 Holiday Decor
No, you haven’t traveled into the future or past, and I haven’t lost my marbles. For the sake of continuity, I felt the need to update the blog with a few photos from our 2025 Holiday. It was so pretty, and my little craft of making a small tree was so much fun that I need them to live on the blog.

I had an old mini potted Christmas tree in storage, that was taking up space, so when I got the idea in my head to create a small custom based tree, using a brass base I thrifted from Goodwill last year, I had no hesitation ripping that baby out of the faux planter and attaching it to the new base that I found. It looks so cute, and I hope I get to use it year after year.
I must have been in a crafting mood around that time, because I made the felt candles too! Aren’t they the cutest displayed in brass candle clips? I bought the beaded garland from the mini-tree decor section of Hobby Lobby, and the rest of the decorations I found at Goodwill or antique shops. It’s the cutest little tree, don’t you think?

The larger tree, was also decorated with bobbles collected from the thrift store, and antique shops. Honestly, the amount of money I saved, buying second hand can’t be beat! I was hoping for it to give a vintage Victorianesque vibe, with a few modern elements to make it original. We loved it so much! As I get older, I still feel the need to create, and experiment with ideas, so I can’t say what this next year’s tree will look like, but if it happens to resemble this one in any way, I will be happy.
Well, that’s all for now, friends! I hope you all are thriving, and enjoying your homes. I have a few projects in the works that I’ll be sure to pop back in and share with you all, once done, but we’re moving at a snails pace these days, and I don’t mind it, so it may be a while.
