Spring/Valentine’s Day Wreath (#CraftyCupid)
Oh man this month is flying by! I can’t believe it’s already time for another #CraftyCupid challenge!
This week we chose to challenge y’all to share your Valentine’s Day wreaths, so I set out to create my own version to play along.
It doesn’t scream “Valentine’s Day!”, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for. I want to leave this baby out for a while, instead of only having a couple of weeks to display it.
If you like it, and want to copy it, I’m sharing a quick tutorial for you today. Be sure to share it with me on Instagram using #CraftyCupid. I’d love to see it!
Supplies:
Tropical Floral Stems (here & here)
Steps:
Cut your grapevine wire into small strips (about 3″).
Trim excess stem from floral spray, leaving about 1″-2″ to tuck into wreath.
Place your floral spray on top of the grapevine wreath, tucking in excess stem into the wreath.
Attach the remaining stem by wrapping the stem to the wreath using the grapevine wire. Do this about every five inches. (Tuck in or cut off excess wire.)
Repeat the last two steps until you are done decorating your wreath.
Enjoy!
See y’all next time!

How many of each stem did you use?

Hi Tara! Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, but I wanted to let you know that I used one Orchid spray and two sprays of the smaller flowers to complete the wreath.

This is so lovely! I like that you can leave it up through Spring, instead of having it be so holiday-specific. I’m glad I stopped by the Home Decor & More party 🙂

So pretty! Would you mind sharing where I can get grapevine wire?

Thank you Lisa! You can find it at Hobby Lobby. I linked up to the website if you’d like to order it online. Just click on the words in the list.
