Welcome! Can you believe that in a few short weeks my home has transitioned from Summer decor to Fall decor to Halloween decor? I can’t! I’m thinking next year I might try to combine Fall and Halloween together all at once, because I’m exhausted! Haha!
You might be visiting us today via the Fall-oween Home Tour Hop. If so, welcome to my home! I’m Iris! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with dreams of being a interior designer/decorator one day. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for, so you will see a ton of pictures being shared here today. I have attempted to create a fun space for my little one, while keeping my decor a bit glam for myself and my husband, and all on a budget. Hopefully you will find inspiration in what I have done!
Last year for Halloween, I went a bit wild out on the porch and in the entryway. This year I’ve moved a bit further into the house, adding my living room and dining room to my decorating list.
I was hoping to be able to share the porch with y’all, but the mosquitoes have been crazy here the past few weeks, and spending any extended period of time outside pretty much guarantees to result in multiple bites, so I’ve been slow to getting it done. Hopefully it’ll all come together soon though, because I can’t wait to share it with y’all!
Since I wanted to decorate so many more spaces this year, I pulled from items I already owned, as well as made very frugal purchases of decor at Target, The Dollar Tree, HomeGoods, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. I’m going to link up the products I found if I can find them online, as well as similar products if I can’t. Either way, I’ll let you know where they are from, because I found some great pieces, and want to share them with y’all! 🙂
Some of you may know that I recently monetized my blog, which means that some of the links shared here will be affiliate links. I may be compensated for clicks or purchases that you make on these products, in which case I’d like to say thank you, if you do! Be confident that I will never just link you to something to make money. My goal is to always help you out, first, and that means that I will only be sharing things that I love, and think you will too. If you’d like more information, please refer to my disclosure.
Are you ready to take the tour? Good, because here we go!

I hope you enjoyed all of the fun Halloween decor I’ve added to my home! Maybe you’ve even found a few pieces you’d like for yourself! That would be great! I love to decorate for my family, but I share it with y’all here to give y’all inspiration, and to show you that it doesn’t have to take a whole lot of money to decorate your home the way you love. I’m always on the hunt for a great deal. I use coupons on everything I can, and I try to buy many items when they are on sale. You can easily do the same! I didn’t think so, until I went out and tried it myself. I’m telling you, it’s possible!
So have you decorated already, or are you waiting until the end of the month to bring it all out? Either way, I’d love to see! Tag me on Instagram and share your decor with me! I can’t wait to see it!
Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to visit the next blog on our tour, Domicile37!

Don’t forget to take advantage of Target’s REDcard program when you purchase from them! I use my REDcard all the time, and save quite a bit throughout the year. Combine that with the Cartwheel App, and you will be amazed with how much you save each time you make a purchase! I honestly think it’s the smartest shopping move I’ve ever made. If you’d like more information on the program click the banner below!

Oh wow Iris! You have outdone yourself. Amazing. Your kids must love you! I really don’t do any Halloween decorating except for a few white pumpkins! Great job!
Iris says
Thank you Vanessa! I love Halloween. It all stems back to my childhood, so I want to share that with my son. Plus his birthday is so close to Halloween, it makes it that much more special. 🙂
Cat @ Pocketful of Posies says
Iris,
You did an absolutely stunning job decorating for Halloween! Your mantle look stunning! Thank you for sharing with us!
Cat
Iris says
Thank you so much Cat!! 🙂
Meg @ Green With Decor says
Love this!! Your dining room is so perfect for Halloween! And I love your living room – beautiful benches and throw pillows!
Iris says
Thank you Meg! I think those are my favorite places to decorate for the seasons. They are easily changed out, and make a big impact on the overall look of the space. 🙂
Sharon says
Dang, Iris! You’ve taken Halloween decorating to the next level! Your home looks amazing and spooky chic–love it and will share!
Iris says
Sharon, you are too kind! Thank you so much for all the support!
Kathy says
You made Halloween look so classy Iris!! It’s just beautiful, spooky, and wonderful. Love the dining room chandy and that huge spider and web. Your table setting is beautiful. Your house is a perfect backdrop for an elegant holiday!!
Iris says
Thank you so much Kathy! I tried to add a few extra touches, like those that you mentioned, using cheap products or decor that I already owned. I swear I used to think it took millions of dollars to decorate like this, but now I know it doesn’t! So glad you like it friend!
Rose says
WOW! You go all out for Halloween! That mantle is gorgeous! Spooky, yet done so tasteful! You make me want to decorate for Halloween now!
Iris says
Haha! Thank you Rose! I remember when I was a teenager I was watching a tour of Christina Aguilera’s home on MTV, and she was decorating for Halloween because it was her favorite Holiday. It was so over the top, and I loved it! I guess, in some ways that stuck with me through today. Haha!
Collette Osuna says
SO festive and fun friend! Loved your home tour:)
Iris says
Thank you so much friend! I’m glad you liked it!
Tiffany says
Hi, Iris ~ I’m feeling a little tired today, too! I’d forgotten how much work decorating the house can be, but I love being able to do it. :0) Your house looks so fun and festive! I love all of the skeletons, and your haunted houses look great! And all of the bats flying around your house add the perfect creepy touch. Thanks for sharing!
Iris says
Thank you so much Tiffany!! I have about a day to rest and then it’s time for the ORC to start. I don’t know why I’m so driven to never stop, because it’s all by choice. I guess I really can’t complain, right? Haha!
Sydney @ Tastefully Frugal says
Iris your home is what my Halloween dreams are made of! I love EVERYTHING you have done here! Definitely going to try to recreate some of these ideas in my home too!
Iris says
That’s the greatest compliment ever Sydney! I’d love to see whatever you end up doing! 🙂
Heather @ The Deans List Blog says
I just love your Halloween decor, Iris! Halloween is something I’ve always wanted to go all out for – so I may have to steal a few of your ideas next year!
Iris says
Thank you Heather! That would be amazing! I’d love to see it if you do!
Emily, Our house now a home says
I love this! I am starting to go bigger each year with Halloween decor, my kids got scared when they were super little. Now that they are 7, 5 and 4 they are happily in on the spooky. I have not decorated for Halloween yet. I am working on it. I have so many ideas from you! You have such talent for decorating a home. Who knew skulls and bats could look so pretty?!
Iris says
Thank you so much friend! It’s so much fun right? My son hasn’t shown any fear towards anything we’ve brought in yet, so we are in the clear this year. He really thinks that all of the Halloween decor is for his birthday. It tickles me to think how excited he is about it!
Bre @ Average But Inspired says
Oh my GOSH! I literally gasped when I saw your fireplace. That is INSANE (in an amazingly good way). I am obsessed with it, and with the sconces flanking your mantel. So perfectly wicked! I’m excited to be participating in this home tour hop with you!
Iris says
Awe, thank you Bre!! I think it’s amazing what you can recreate with discounted products. I got my inspiration from a Pottery Barn add (the skeleton), and just found things that would work in my home, and that wouldn’t costs me a fortune. So much of what you see is from Target, and the Dollar Tree. Crazy, right?!?!
Stephanie @ Casa Watkins says
Love your home Iris! You went all out for Halloween!! I adore your styled fireplace and dining room table. Great tour! Pinned and shared
Iris says
Thank you Stephanie!! I think those are my favorites as well! OF COURSE, decorating my fireplace is a favorite, haha! I might be a bit obsessed with changing that thing up so often.
Tee @ Beauteeful Living says
What a gorgeous tour, Iris! You’ve managed to keep things elegant with bats and skeletons. Ha. Love that fireplace mantel! – Tee
Iris says
I don’t really know how it all came together so well. I think maybe I’m getting better at this decorating thing that I think. LOL! I’m always full of self doubt. It’s so reassuring to hear from my fellow bloggers in such a positive way, so thank you! 🙂
Karen says
Girl!!! You have outdone yourself! This is the most beautiful Halloween I have ever seen! And as always, your photos are gorgeous. Magazine worthy for sure!
Iris says
Aw Karen, thank you SO much! You’ve made my day with this compliment!
BonBon @ Farmhouse 40 says
Iris, I love all your Halloween decor. My favorite is you table setting so so cute. The mantel decor is really great also. I am not decorating for Halloween as i normally do, just because our House is on the market to sell and the Halloween decor might not help sell. HaHa! I will be back at it next year. Thanks sharing your home. You are one of my favorites.
Iris says
Thank you BonBon!! I pulled that table setting together last minute using pieces I had picked up with no real direction. The only thing that I really had a vision for was to use those buckets to hold either candy, candles, or flowers. Glad I chose the flowers!
